There are approx 70,000 US troops still in Afghanistan- it’s winter there and extremely cold!! Warm socks are easy to ship in our flat rate boxes along with the quality goods and treats!! A care package also offers encouragement and we pray over every box!!
At Heavenly Cheesecakes tonight- 3101 Balfour Rd promptly at 7- come early if you want, I will be there by 6, or drop off goods and we will pack!!
We have one of our contacts moving to a new FOB(forward operating base) with 60 soldiers in his unit- when you are buying goods, be thinking about this number. We should be able to support this unit easily!!
Postage- we are in luck this year that the PO has not raised the rate for the flat rate box!! $13.45 each still adds up and we need postage- sponsor 1 box or 10. we always need postage!!!!
The troops- they really appreciate our efforts and only God knows the how far and how wide of this ministry, but we know it’s important and needed!!
Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.
