Care Packages

Since 2009, we’ve been dedicated to sending care packages to U.S. troops deployed overseas. By 2010, we were consistently sending 50 to 100 packages each month. Over the years, we've found that these care packs offer a meaningful way to encourage soldiers far from home, and we always strive to send high-quality goods. This initiative was the foundation of our ministry, and the connections we've made through it have been vital to our growth and expansion into new areas of outreach.

As our mission evolved, we began sending care packs to veterans across the U.S., providing encouragement to those who have served. We don’t keep count of how many packages we've sent because our focus is on consistency and impact, not numbers. We pray that each care pack reaches someone at just the right moment. Most packages include handwritten notes from schoolchildren, a decorated plywood board, and a Psalm 91 card for God’s protection.

While we've expanded our outreach to include veterans and families affected by military suicide, care packages remain the heart of our mission. Unfortunately, the cost of shipping has risen—$24.25 per package for military addresses and $26 for stateside deliveries—but we remain committed to this effort.

Every second Tuesday in December, we gather at the Veterans Hall in Brentwood, CA, to assemble around 500 care packages for deployed troops and veterans. These packages are shipped out the very next day, thanks to the hard work of a dedicated team of civilians and the invaluable help of local veterans.

Over the years, we've sent a wide variety of requested items. One soldier, after enduring a grueling 17-hour convoy, shared how grateful he was for the Frosted Flakes we sent. In another instance, a U.S. Army Chaplain’s Assistant deployed in South Korea received a guitar from us during his two-year assignment. Later, he played a song for us on that very guitar at Fort Irwin, California.

Our hope, prayer, and mission is to uplift and support those protecting our freedoms, as well as those who have safeguarded those freedoms in the past. God bless America and keep her free!

Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.
